Friends of Glacier Bay (FOGB) is a non-profit organization founded in 1979 dedicated to preserving ecological intactness and opportunities for solitude in Glacier Bay National Park in Southeast Alaska.
The purposes of Friends of Glacier Bay are to:
A. Serve as a forum for discussion, education and action on issues affecting Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve.
B. Provide an organized means by which individuals' experience and knowledge of the Park can be retained as an inflience on the management and management philosophy of the Park.
C. Work with the National Park Service to ensure that Park management strives to maintain the natural environment in a pristine condition.
In the interest of fostering discussion of issues concerning Glacier Bay we have created a message board. Please use it to communicate your ideas, opinions, questions and stories. All posts should be related to Glacier Bay and show respect for other posters. You do not need to register to post or read messages.

Get involved now if you wish to have much input on the plan. The Park actively solicits thoughts and ideas during this initial planning process. Significant input at this stage of the process has a much better chance of being considered. Past experiences show that once preferred alternatives are formulated, few changes are initiated after the fact.
